Scope of work:
Extensive refurbishment of Mill Mead Boarding House within an extremely challenging programme during the summer vacation.

Works included the re-model and refurbishment of existing bedrooms, bathrooms/WCs, kitchens and communal living spaces as well as of existing corridors, entrance area, offices, staff room, study rooms, laundry rooms and gym.

All existing windows were replaced, remedial works were carried out to hot and cold water systems after a legionella audit and new M&E installations took place to suit the refurbishment works.

External works comprised of new log planters and outdoor seating as well as an upgrade to the building entrance.

The refurbishment project was carried out whilst the college was holding Summer School which meant that all adjacent buildings were fully occupied.
