New Recruit

We are pleased to welcome new recruit Ian Williams to the commercial team. Ian previously worked for Britannia Construction Ltd and BAM Construction Ltd and will be a welcome addition to the commercial team. He will be initially working on a new project in Bath - Duck Son and Pinker, alongside Gary Lott and Paul Brown.

We wish Ian every success in his new career with Bray & Slaughter.

"Digger Day" at Saltford Primary School

As part of our Considerate Constructor Scheme responsibilities, Bray and Slaughter recently held a "Digger Day" at Saltford Primary School to communicate to pupils and teachers the importance of Site Health and Safety. B&S are currently building a new Tiddlers Day Nursery within the grounds of the school so used the opportunity to host an awareness day which included drawing and junk modelling competitions and a digger competition. Staff and pupils were thrilled with the activities and took a real interest in the importance of H&S on construction sites.

BANES - Keynsham Library Relocation

17th May '12

Works have commenced on this fastrack demolition and fit out contract, which will see a large area previously used as storage, converted into a temporary home for Keynsham Library.

The facility has a gross floor area of 1800 sq ft and will include automated book deposit, IT facilities, storage areas and new staff welfare. The project will be completed in six weeks and is being managed by Michael de Courcy and Gary Lott.
